Someone, please make me stop buying more radio stuff!!!

I need an intervention! I’m buying more radio gear than I can use at any given time. Ah!!!! Thankfully, I know enough about how to spend only what money I have to spend so I’m not going broke or missing bill payments. Anyway, some new purchased recently have been made.

Andy Perryman, N0APX, is selling his ultra-portable end-fed half-wave antenna for 20 meters on his website at www.n0apx.com. I bought one of those when he put them on discount this past weekend during the Dayton Hamvention. He didn’t get to go, so he put his antenna on sale as a result. I don’t know why that worked, but it worked on me. I’m not mad about it.

I also bought a used Elecraft KX3 transceiver and AX-1 whip antenna from a fellow on QRZ’s swap-meet at a good price. I’m thinking of go-bag contents for this radio. I’ll maybe post something separate once that kit has been put together.

Apart from those two things, I’ve purchased a bunch of little things to complete my QMX QRP go-bag.
